Camden Council is carrying out a ‘Fair Lettings’ project to raise the standard of letting agents in the borough. They are:
- Advising agents on how to comply with their legal obligations
- Issuing fines to letting agents who do not comply with certain pieces of law
- Raising awareness of what tenants should look for when renting a property
- Raising awareness of how to carry out certain simple checks to ensure that your money and home is protected
