Our Origin Tenants’ Voices (OTV) project has been working in the Somers Town area of Camden with Origin housing association tenants for almost 2 years now.
The project receives Community Infrastructure Levy funding from Camden Council, which enables us to employ a part-time Community Engagement Worker to run it.
Its purpose is to actively engage with and listen to the tenants of this particular landlord about their concerns relating to their housing and other changes taking place in the area such as HS2 and the re-development of Euston station.
In phase 2 of the project we will prioritise engaging with both older and younger tenants of this housing association and members of their families where appropriate.
