It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Kit Wilby, one time Camden Federation of Private Tenants Organiser.
Kit stepped into the role temporarily in 2007 after the previous Organiser left the organisation. Coming to us highly recommended, she proved to be the ideal person for the post. The transition was seamless. Kit was very competent and managed to keep things going without fuss or bother and proved to be an ideal manager.
She didn’t treat the role as something temporary and took it on fully committed to doing her best for CFPT. Kit was easy to work with, always pleasant and co-operative and with her wide range of contacts in the voluntary sector, a great asset to the organisation.
Without her input, we would have struggled to cope during the period before our current staff member was appointed to the Organiser’s post. CFPT owes a great deal to Kit although she was with the organisation for only a short time and we will always be grateful for her contribution which helped us keep going over a difficult period.
Kit will be greatly missed by her loving family and her many friends.
Kit, RIP
