A third of Camden residents live in privately rented accommodation, but many do not contact the Council for advice or support when they may need it. This can sometimes result in private renters putting up with poor housing 
conditions, including damp, lack of heating and overcrowding and poor behaviour by landlords/agents.
Therefore, the Council and ourselves want to make sure that private renters are aware of their rights and know where to get help, if required.

By taking part, you’ll also help Camden Council improve how they communicate with people who rent privately, which in turn will help improve living conditions in the private sector.
